Island Peak · Mera · Lobuche
First alpine objectives in the Himalaya. Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche East and more: shorter summit days, clear technical briefing, and a team that has done the route that season.
These are trekking peaks with real ice and a short rope. A first Himalayan summit, not an 8000 m expedition, with pacing that still respects the altitude.
Island Peak, Mera, and Lobuche East sit above the teahouse trail. You walk in, sleep high, and use crampons and a fixed line on summit morning.
We brief knots, glacier travel, and turnaround times the night before. If this is your first time on ice, that is the point of these peaks. We do not pretend it is a walk.
Permits, gear hire, and a climbing Sherpa are included in the plan. You arrive with boots that fit and lungs that have had rest days on the way in.
Want the ice line and weeks of rotation? That is Expeditions. Want lodges and a high pass with no rope? That is Treks. These pages are the step between.
We set the trek in, the gear, and the summit morning around your group and the season.
