Helambu Trek
Gentle trek through traditional Sherpa villages
Trip Overview
The Helambu Trek is a beautiful and relatively easy trek that takes you through traditional Sherpa villages in the Helambu region, located just north of Kathmandu. This gentle trek offers a perfect introduction to Himalayan trekking, with moderate altitudes, well-maintained trails, and stunning mountain views.
The trail passes through lush rhododendron and pine forests, traditional villages with stone houses, and offers spectacular views of the Langtang Himal range. The highlight is exploring the traditional Sherpa villages of Helambu, known for their apple orchards, beautiful architecture, and warm hospitality.
